My 2014 in a Nutshell!

A lot has happened in 2014. I got a different job than working at Pride Industries. I work at Auburn Ravine Terrace which is a senior living home. There's the residential area where the residents are allowed to come and go as they want, than there's the Assisted Living Unit where the residents have to have some help and than there's the Skilled Nursing unit, where the residents are taken care of fully. A lot of the residents have passed away, so that makes me scared, because I am a very emotional person.

My brother got married in October and I got to be a bridesmaid. I love my sister in law, Rhiannon or Rhia, as I call her. She is pregnant with her first child. I'm so happy! I'm going to be an auntie! They have decided not to have genetic testing in case the baby does inherit my condition, which is called MRKH with vaginal and uterine agengis. That means I don't have a vagina or a uterus. It's a chromosomal defect.

My 2014 was full of firsts and I'm so grateful that I got to learn how to do a new job and that I got to be a part of my brother's wedding.

Have a wonderful 2015 and don't forget to follow me if you haven't already.

I Have a New Job!

Hi, guys! Sorry about the not posting in here. I have started a new job. I start my first day tomorrow. I have to do training before I start working only 1 to 2 days a week with call-ins. I used to work at Pride Industries, which is a company that employs people with different disabilities, but I only made piece rate there, which meant less money. Now I'm working at Auburn Ravine Terrace, which is an assisted living facility for the elderly. My job will be as a Waitstaff in the Dietary department. I'm so grateful for this opportunity. My training will be every day except for weekends and also time off for my brothers wedding. I think I'll get more hours once I get into the routine. I won't have a lot of time to do makeup reviews on my makeup blog, so please be patient with me. I will be getting paid hourly. I will have a job coach from Pride helping me out for a while. My jobs will be setting the tables, giving the residents their meals and their juices, and cleaning the tables. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. Wish me luck!

Thanks for reading!
